Pass-A-Grille-Beach, Feb 18 – Samuel Hahn, 63, a Winter Visitor from Crawfordsville, In where he operated a ready-to-wear store died in a local hotel yesterday. He was a native of Brooklyn and member of Tampel Israel in Lafayette, Ind. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Sarah Hahn; a son, Ross Hahn, of Manchester, Conn and daughter, Mrs. Doris Teruhaft (sic) of Toledo, Ohio.

Sam Hahn, 63, Crawfordsville businessman and member of Temple Israel at Lafayette died Wednesday morning at Pass-A-Grill, Fla.  He had been there since Jan 4 because of ill health.  Mr. Hahn was born at Brooklyn, NY.  He was co-owner of the Golden Rule store at Crawfordsville and lived there 24 years. He was a member of B’Nai B’rith of Lafayette and the Crawfordsville Kiwanis club.  Surviving are the widow, the former Sarah Levenstein; a son, Ross Hahn, Manchester, Calif; a daughter, Mrs. Roy Treuhaft, Toledo, O and five sisters at Brooklyn, NY. The body will be sent to Lafayette. – kbz

“Funeral Notices” – Hahn, Sam – Friends may call at Soller-Baker Funeral Home after 10 a.m. Friday. Services there at 3:30 p.m. Friday, Rabbi Milton Richman officiating.  Burial in Jewish cemetery.  Also surviving are three grandchildren, Paul, William and Alex Treuhaft. In lieu of flowers, friends may contribute to Temple Israel Memorial fund. – kbz
